Tawonga Baker makes slow-leavened 100% sourdough bread using premium Australian organic flours. We also hand-make a small range of croissants and pastries as well as other sweet treats. We do what we do because we love great food made from simple seasonal ingredients. Our products are how we share a little of what we love with our local community.
How to buy
Online pre-order
Our core range of breads and pastries are available online for pre-order. You can collect your order in Tawonga South at the Tawonga Baker shop rear 225 Kiewa Valley Hwy.
We also offer local delivery (Mt Beauty, Tawonga, Tawonga South), which is free if your cart total is $25 or over (even if you order for different days), or $2.50 if less than $25.
Free delivery is also available for people on the age pension or those with mobility difficulties (including people on the disability pension) who can't easily get to us.
Buy in store
Buy in store directly from us at our 'mini' store in Tawonga South, rear 225 Keiwa Valley Highway Tawonga South. Our store offers a wider range of breads, pastries and sweet treats.
Hours - Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10.00am to 1.30pm (or sold out).

Sourdough breads
Our sourdough breads are made from premium organic Australian flours. They are slow-leavened over 3 days to fully develop the flavours in the dough.
Croissants and pastries
We offer a small range of house-made croissants and pastries.
We bake these every day we open. Online preorder is available for Saturday only.
Rhubarb danishes made with our own Mount Emu Farm organically-grown rhubarb are a house specialty!

Seasonal specials
Seasonal specials are available from time to time. In particular watch out for hot cross buns and Christmas fruit mince pies.
